Trash the Dress Sessions!

Have any of you brides thought of doing a Trash the Dress session? We don’t do a lot of these, but they are FUN! I wanted to throw up some highlights from some of our recent San Diego Trash the Dress sessions
The first session at Windansea beach was with Heather and Lauren. These two are best friends and live up in Orange County. Bronson and I provided wedding photography for Lauren’s wedding in 2007 up in Temecula, and then we shot Heather’s wedding in Lake Tahoe last year! This session was a blast – we only anticipated being there for an hour . . . . three hours later it was dark, we were soaking wet, and trying to find someplace open for dinner at 9:30pm on a Sunday night!

We shot the second session here in Little Italy and in Hillcrest. We didn’t shoot Dana or Emily’s wedding, but it was great working with them on the Trash the Dress. I LOVE the ones under the car . . . how cool is that?

And then a few of the outtakes! These sessions were full of funny moments, so we had to post a few of them up.

Heather got taken out by a huge wave! It wasn’t the last one to get her either . . . .those dresses get sooooo heavy when they’re wet.

And then Lauren’s dress broke from a wave . . . so we ended up crafting a fix-up with a paper clip!
