October is pretty much my favorite month in San Diego…It’s still light later into the day, the weather is perfect, the skies are usually clear, and it is nice and busy!!!
AnneMarie and Adam probably knew these things when they planned their wedding for October 3 and it proved to be a perfect plan! We started the day at the Grande Colonial Hotel for the preparation which was great because the colors in the room were so complimentary and cool. It’s also a great place to do portraits…obviously!

They decided to see each other prior to the ceremony so we could maximize our time with them and it was a fun the way they got to see each other for the first time with the vintage car they had rented for the day! After a few portraits with them and the wedding party, and family photos, the ceremony started at the Museum of Contemporary Art – Such a fun place for ceremony and/or reception.
With Events By Design at the helm designing and coordinating the evening and Willem-Aidan florals, the wedding reception was hit and everyone got out on the dance floor right away!
