They don’t make them much cuter than this ….
I met Karen and Mitch around a year ago. Mitch was one of those surprising grooms that did all the initial legwork on the photography …. I actually didn’t meet Karen until after they booked! We did a two-part engagement session with these two – one part at a gorgeous winery in Temecula and the other on the beach in Sunset Cliffs. These two have so many fun stories – how they met, their first date, their proposal (Mitch took her on a 10+ hour scavenger hunt that included Disneyland!). I knew it was going to be a special day![]()
We had a gorgeous day for wedding photography at the Hilton Torrey Pines. Karen and Mitch had their ceremony on the lawn overlooking the famous Torrey Pines golf course, and then we moved inside for the reception. The Hilton has just done a remodel on the room we used, and it was stunning! Karen and her florist Kathy Wright picked the perfect decor and color scheme for the room.
This was the first time I had the pleasure of working with Cynthia Zatkins, Karen’s coordinator. Wow, what a pleasure. This was such an easy day to work on.
It was a really, really fun reception. You could tell family and friends really cared for the two of them, and Kris kept them dancing until the end. The pictures turned out wonderfully. You can tell by all the little cute expressions and touching moments that they are a couple that really cares for each other. We’re already getting started on their album – its going to look fantastic!
