One of my favorite weddings of all time. Also, it was one of the craziest!!!
Tess and Andrew are one of the couples that you meet and walk away thinking “Yeah, they were meant for each other….”. Tess and Andrew both work in Hollywood, and lead the busiest of lives. Most of the emails I got from them leading up to the wedding were sent at 1am, probably in between a long day on set somewhere, dinner, and a quick trip to the gym. These two poured themselves into their wedding, dedicating themselves to ensuring that they created a unique experience and that their guests would have a good time. What ended up happening was an amazing weekend.
Set in the hills above San Luis Obisbo at the Santa Margarita Ranch, this weekend had so many unique touches. Eder and I headed up the day before, and spent some time with Tess and Andrew at their rehearsal dinner. The wedding day had perfect weather (make sure to look at the images of the two of them in grass field under the Oak Tree). And – again – so many unique touches. All of the personalized details at the cocktail hour and reception (coordinator Jessica Gillon had a lot to do with that!) to the private band and train ride that took the guests from the ceremony to cocktail hour. For any bride planning her wedding, this is a great blog post to inspire some ideas!
And lastly, Tess and Andrew were amazing on their wedding day! Each couldn’t stop smiling (mostly at each other) the whole day. We travel and shoot a lot of destination weddings…. this one was up there as an all time favorite for me
